Care guide
Taking care of your towels.
MIORA towels are designed to improve with age. A few simple habits will keep them soft, absorbent, and lasting for years.
First wash
Wash your towels before first use to activate the cotton fibers and maximize absorbency. Use cold or warm water with a mild detergent. Avoid fabric softener — it coats fibers and reduces absorbency.
Regular washing
Machine wash warm (40°C / 104°F). Use a gentle, plant-based detergent. Wash towels separately from clothing to prevent lint transfer. Avoid bleach and fabric softener.
Drying
Tumble dry on low heat or line dry. Remove promptly to prevent musty odor. Over-drying on high heat can weaken cotton fibers over time. Your towels will get softer with each cycle.
Stain removal
For stubborn stains, spot-treat with a paste of baking soda and water before washing. Avoid chlorine bleach — use oxygen-based bleach alternatives if needed.
Storage
Store towels in a dry, ventilated space. Avoid plastic containers or sealed bags, which can trap moisture and promote mildew. Fold loosely rather than tightly compressing.
Longevity
With proper care, MIORA towels will last years — and get softer with every wash. Unlike polyester blends that pill and degrade, 100% cotton fibers strengthen through use.
